This work package involves the main stakeholders and decision makers from the start of the project: representatives of hydroelectric power and cooling water companies, drinking water authorities, agricultural consortiums, tourism and lift operators associations, environmental protection associations, bird watchers, water sports associations, federations, angling clubs and fish farms. It contributes to national and local water use policies, regional development, awareness and transnational cooperation. The actions performed within this work packages are amongst others 1) the definition of water scarcity and associated problems at the international, national and regional scale together with different stakeholders 2) the establishment of a communication network 3) the reinforcement of authorities and stakeholders in water management and 4) the discussion of socio-economic adaptation and mitigation strategies and identify innovative technologies.
